There are several OL plugins to help overcome some of the fundamental
flaws in OL as a spam reporting tool.

... where your definition of the latest incarnation of OL is... the one
that belongs to the fundamentally flawed Office 2007?

There was a discussion of spamcop/OL2007 in the forum

I used to have a tool that plugged into Microsoft Outlook... you select a
spam and click a button and it would go to wherever you wanted to report
(i.e., Spamcop, UCE, etc.)

That tool no longer works with the latest incarnation of Outlook... and IIRC
it took a lot of tweaking to send full headers so that Spamcop could
process.

It would be nice if there were a Spamcop gadget that could work in the same
way.

Hint, hint... :-)

Personally, I don't think that 'people' whatever that term might mean,
should -1- be forced to -2- choose to -3- or some other formulation of
1&2 -- use MS Office 2007.

It is seriously flawed and noncompatible with the rest of the world in
its default mode.

I think that people who need an office suite should use one of the
following: MS Office 2003, the last great MS Office; OpenOffice 2.3.1
or somewhere thereabouts; and then there are some other options which
are superior to Office 2007. If an employer tries to force the office
to use MS Office 2007, then the office personnel have no gonads if they
don't resist that idea, man or woman.

Ya... I used that when I was running Outlook 2K. Version 2003 sorta kinda
worked... but 2007, fuggedaboutit.

I can manually report spam using the web tool... but a single-click is
preferable to a lazy dude like myself.

I mentioned the compatibility pack late Feb in .social Message-ID:

Maybe it was this article:
