Norton IS keeps popping up a warning about "program Control" high
risk
HPZipm12.exe is attempting to access he internet.
This is NOT a high risk as this is a network printer.
I looked at the personal firewall program list in IS and tried to add
this program to the list but get an error 'You are attempting to add a
program that already has rules'.
How do I change this to "allow" so the notification quits?

It appears that the 'automatic' settings are not correct...Go into the
firewall settings and change the settings for that specific program....

You are correct, the automatic setting is wrong.
I tried to do that but got an error message saying that I was trying to add
THAT program which was already in the list - could not find that program in
the list to change anything!
Tried deleting all Norton programs and having the IS scan for all programs -
did not find that program in the new list but got the same error message
when I tried to add it.
Is there a Norton forum that I can try?? could not find any.

Norton/Symantec don't seem to have that.
There is a '3rd party' forum with a section for Norton AV which looks
like it has fair activity and also that they are discussing other Norton
products besides such the AV part
http://www.tek-tips.com/threadminder.cfm?pid=742 Symantec: Norton
AntiVirus Forum
(10908 members) forum742
There is a newsgroup named
symantec.support.network.nortonantivirus.firewalls but there's no useful
activity in there.
There are a lot of symantec support groups. There seems to be some
infrequent discussion about internet security in one of the groups
symantec.support. I didn't check others. I think there's less activity
there than at tek-tips, but I didn't evaluate the players.
