I don't recall the word choice in the clause, but my reading of it gave me
the impression that it meant bourn in a way that citizenship was a
birthright, which then would mean any of
On US Soil
Of Citizens
and any other means where US citizenship is automatic at birth.
By the way, I read NATIVE BORN as meaning born of Natives (citizens).
Courts my well have a different opinion. NATURAL BORN to me would mean
without medical intervention, as in Caesarian, or some kind of artificial
fertilization or implantation. Zombies and clones among others would be
excluded.

If the panama base is declared, by the courts, to be "sovereign US
territory", what does that do for Guantanemo?
The difference may be semantic NAVTIVE BORN (i.e. on us soil) vs. NATURAL
BORN (i.e. of parents who are US citizens)

Goldwater was born in Arizona before it was part of the US. I suppose
it was good he wasn't elected so they didn't have to test out the
requirements.
And Guantanamo has been sovereign US territory and not sovereign US
territory at the same time, depending on what needed to be justified at

The U.S. still attempts to pay rent for the land at Gitmo, though the
Cuban government refuses to cash the checks.
