I finally watched this. I think lemons have been singled out unfairly,
because if the lemons are that dirty from people handling them, then
everything else in the restaurant is equally as dirty, they just didn't do
any swab tests. Working in an office full of men who for some inexplicable
reason find it impossible to wash their hands after they go to the bathroom,
I can understand why everything is contaminated. Might explain why sickness
has rocketed around the office this year too....I've personally witnessed
someone go into the bathroom, take a leak, come immediately out and go to
the kitchen and start putting his hands all over the refrigerator, the food
in it, the coffee pot - makes me SICK....

One possible solution is to place waterless hand cleaners about with a cute
note/cartoon pushing flu prevention.
Worked in several of the local plants here about to the extent that
management hosted a celebration party for the employees for having much
lower use of sick days over last year.

I've been carrying a small bottle of that liquid hand cleaning stuff for
about 2 months now, won't put anything into my mouth without using it first,
and in any other situations I feel may be contaminated. Also helps to use
paper towels to open doors when exiting bathrooms (and especially useful for
turning the faucet on and off!). I'm much healthier since I've been doing
that, haven't had a cold since then. And a water filter on my shower head
has reduced the chlorine level to my skin (amongst other chemicals),
blemishes heal faster and my sinus problems have almost disappeared.
