inline porn pic in spam

I know this spam is illegal porn because it can be seen in XP OE without
clicking on anything. Is there an email address to complain about that kind
of spam?

I'm not clear on what you think is illegal.

To oversimplify a lot of laws, it isn't illegal to send 'ordinary' porn
to you an adult - even where ordinary porn includes alleged teenagers
who aren't really minors.

Oversimplifying... basically in order to be illegal, porn has to involve
children somehow, such as knowingly sending porn to a child or
exploiting children in the pornography.

Earlier I tried to get clear on what country we were talking about so I
looked at the header IP.

Willow is US. You are GB. The important and enforced laws in the US
are about children, except 'accidentally' broadcasting graphic porn to
children isn't a big problem for the broadcaster.

The other rinkydink 'laws' of CANSPAM and some other laws about properly
labelling a graphic porn spam and providing it with an unsub mechanism
is a joke which the 'responsible' agencies and the porn spammers
completely ignore. The last time there was any kind of publicity about
any US agencies enforcing the so-called law against porn spammers not
properly labeling their graphic porn spam was about 2 or so years ago.

Willow's OE is 6.00.2900.3028 which is of IE 6 SP2 for XP.

My OE is 6.00.2800.1437 which is not. It is of IE6 SP1. You might say
it is not for today's internet, that would be fair.

It is not possible to configure my OE to not display images inline which
are plaintext attachments. If my OE is configured to 'not allow
attachments to be opened or saved that could possibly be a virus' - that
configuration prevents access to the attachment line for saving the
graphic attachment to a plaintext email with graphic attachment, but it
does not prevent the display of the graphic in the plaintext mail
attached. The alert says "OE removed access to the following unsafe
attachments in your mail filename.ext" -- but the graphic is displayed,
there's just not an attachment section from which to save it.

That graphic display business above has nothing to do with html
rendering.
