| HATS application deployment using TN3270 |

A question from one of our developers: An EAR file will communicate with the
host, using port 23 type 3270E and code page 037.
Since we're not using CTG, how should we configure HOST/WAS so that TN3270 is
supported?
TIA.

You probably want to ask in the HATS newsgroup
ibm.software.websphere.hats.

Exactly. And I would still suggest the aforementioned HATS newsgroup as
you are unlikely to get much help about setting up a 3270 (zSeries?)
connection in a predominately 5250 (iSeries) newsgroup.

Am I missing something or you are saying that you have developed an
application using HATS over TN3270E without having a server that
supports the connectivity?
You don't need to do anything on the WAS side since it will be just
running the HATS application as a TN3270E client, but it seems you need
help on the z/OS side for setting up the TN3270E server.
