The laptop I just purchased has the 64-bit Vista Ultimate preinstalled. As
mentioned SB2 won't run on it regardless of compatibility settings.
I'm wondering what the recommended solution would be... dual boot, or
virtual machine (like the

I'm thinking the latter might be less intrusive and maybe even allow a bit
of copy/pasting between virtual machines, unless anyone has seen problems
with the method.
I use DDE (to Word and a VB app) an awful lot so it's probably a second full
setup.
Before spending on Vista 32-bit, has anyone else run SB in that OS
successfully? I could always do the tried and true XP on the 'second
machine'.

We have sbv2 running on 32bit Vista versions.
CPU usage is a problem but with the Classic RTS the CPU is perfect.
Few issues. Indexing should be switched off (this is a general observation)
