Hi,
Here's a little thing that has me puzzled for some time now. I run SB
om 3 machines here. Same OS (winXP), same SB, same code, same form.
When I enter a record on machine 1, the cursor appears in the first
entry box and the complete fieldbox turns white, making it quite clear
where the cursor is at. On both other machines the cursor also appears
in the first field, but nothing else happens; the background colourof
the selected fieldbox stays as it is when unselected. So on large
forms it is quite hard to discover in what field the cursor is, or if
it is in edit mode at all. Does anyone here recognize this problem and
know how to get all machines to act like the first one?
Thanks,

Look at the Options->Display dialog and see if there are any differences
between the machines.

After checking 'Form Edit in System Colors' it works like I want.
Thanks again for your help Neil!
