smpwin32.exe doesn't always shut down.
From time to time, I try to use the Desktop to create a de minimus form
for testing purposes. And to see if I can actually get it to work.
Often I just get stymied by what appears to be a freeze or sometimes I
get error 3 trying to open a table or datasource.
Other times the mere act of trying to put data into a field in RECORD
view, leads to shut down.
At some point down the road, I'll ask for a step by step instructions
because obviously there is a finesse to using Desktop at this stage that
I'd don't get.
But in the mean time, I do notice in the Taskmanager that smpwin32.exe
remains a running process though all "Simpol Desktop" windows have
been
shut down and no Simpol Application is running.

JD,
I will look into adding a thread to Desktop that checks to see if there
are any windows left and if so if there is at least one visible. If
there are none left visible, I will arrange it to shut down.
