I have renamed this from sbp2sbng to sbl2simpol in keeping with the simpol
name change.
The attachment is a zip file containing an installation exe of the most
recent work I have done on this but is still a couple of months old. It will
install into a different directory than the last version so you may want to
uninstall the previous version if you have it.
Too many things to list here have been added or improved since the last post
of this program but output should now reformat using the simpol ide
reformatting options.
The plugin facility will not work with this version.
SBPCheck (included) has also had some bug fixes and should handle most
things thrown at it. It is a good idea to use this and rectify any problems
in your SBP before using the convert program as incorrect code may cause a
scrambled output.
There is still no support for for dialogs and forms built from non-object
code and very little data file or form support is included as I cannot
continue to devote time to a project of this size on a gratis basis.
There is a basic dimension to pixel @ 96 dpi and SBP color to RGB calculator
included in the tools menu.
I trust you will find sbl2simpol of more use than the last version but
please do not expect a compilable output. Work will have to be done to bring
things up to a useable level.
The help file has been revamped and is worth a look for explanations of what
is converted to what.
Cheers, John

I'm poring through it... the settings seem to be ignored, like where to put the
resulting files (it just puts them with the originals. I didn't run the check
first, being pretty confident of my stuff (besides I used your check routines
very recently as well as my own SBL ones). Probably have more to report when I
dig into this migration problem more deeply.
Thanks again for this great work.

Peter
It works this end. Perhaps you have not done the following:
1. tick the "Create Project Directories and Project.smj in Parent
Directory"
checkbox. This will enable the two textboxes mentioned below.
2. In the textbox below the checkbox, supply a path to a directory where you
want a project and its directories to be made
3. in the textbox below 2 supply a name for the project and dirs
As always it seems obvious to the creator but if you don't have the checkbox
ticked then the textboxes are disabled and it will put the new .sma files in
the same dir as the SBP files are sourced.
Thanks for the thanks!
I am happy to fix any logic bugs found if they are brought to my notice.
