I haven't spent much time with SIMPOL before now since it was so far away from 
what we need.  I'm encouraged that there has been progress in implementing a 
familiar desktop and form designer. The form designer is very usable and easy to

make the transition from what we've used the last twenty years or so. The 
language is not familiar, but similar.

However, I agree with other writers on this group who have run into consistent 
GPF's in the desktop and form designer.  They are in so many areas that I have 
to think something may have been left out of the installation.  This especially

since Neil is using it successfully in his development environment.

It goes without saying that the primary reason our clients have been satisfied 
with Superbase custom apps is their solid and consistent reliability.  We can't

risk using any new version until we can guarantee that the results will be as 
dependable.
