Network simulation environment

Hello,


  I want to test my network application on nokia emulator ( client ) and 
web server ( server ). Is there any network simulation environment to 
run my application in emulator and test network connection on private ip 
addresses 10.*.*.* or test it on the same computer, if so, which 
solution do you recommend the best ?

The easiest solution is probably to test on the same computer (as the web
server is running on) using the localhost address 127.0.0.1
