There are no Java APIs currently supported on Symbian that give access to
telephony.

Hi,
My name is Naor and I am new to symbian.
I don't really get the java thing on symbian devices. I developed midp
applications on cldc in my past and I know there is no way to control calls.
I also know that there is an API for telephony but cldc nor midp didn't
implement it.
Does symbian devices enables telephony?
Does symbian devices using cdc configuration and personal profile (and
therefore enables telephony)?

I relly need someone to clean this mess..

Thanks a lot!

Naor

So the only way to use telephony on symbian is using c++. Is it right?

Yes. Check out the
Etel 3rd Party API in SDK docs
and
