Dear Symbian Team,
I can't find the "Series 60 SDK 1st Edition - Symbian OS v6.1 CW". I'm
sure
it could be downloaded on the Symbian.com SDK downnload platform, two or
three weeks ago, I used to download it several times. As Nokia did remove
the older SDK's from their download platform, symbian.com was the only place
where older SDK's could be downloaded.
I posed the same question to Nokia some days ago, but they answered, that
this SDK did never exists for codewarrior. As I have installed a Series60
SDK 1_2 for CW (which is the 6.1 one) I'm sure that it exists.
As you removed the download of the SDKs from your site, and make just a
redirect to Nokia, it is now gone.
As I am teaching at univesity Symbian Mobile OS Development, I'd be very
happy, to get this SDK once again. There are still lots of students, that
have devices from older days.
Could you please help me?

As you can see, the S60 1.2 exists on my PC for CW. I do not have the
installation package anymore, though...

Hi
I'm fairly sure that CW support was introduced in Symbian OS v7.0.
In other words, I think that Nokia are correct and this SDK does not exist.

OK, the situation is that Symbian has never hosted this SDK - we have
provided links to this (and other) content syndicated by Nokia. I've asked
Forum-Nokia for information regarding their position on this SDK and am
currently waiting for an answer. I'll keep you posted.
