FYI: As I was working with the samples in the Nokia Series 60 3rd
Edition SDK, the directory examples\Basics\CommonFramework is missing.
This directory does exist in the UIQ 3 SDK and can be used with the
Nokia Series 60 3rd Edition SDK. The same is true with

Thanks. Useful information for anyone looking for those files.
We can't actually get them into the SDK, because it belongs to Nokia.

Is it legal to copy files over between SDKs; with all the SS procedures
and all?

I don't know. Read the click-through.
I can't see Symbian suing anyone for "porting" example code between
kits.

Sorry, I didn't word my question correctly. I meant is it ok to copy
missing libs and headers between SDKs, like we used to on older SDKs?

2 issues, is it legal and will testhouses fail for this reason? In some
cases the platform makes it very clear that so and so functionality is
removed hence the libs or headers have been removed from the SDK. But at
times copying headers or Libs over works.

Now with compulsory signing will such tactics work?
