Problem with Symbian Signed Tool: USER panic (reason 8)

Hi,

I get always a

"Program closed
    Program: Symbian Signed Tool
    Reason code: USER
    Reason number: 8
"

panic (error) when I try to run the tests with the beta version of the 
Symbian Signed Tool (Automated Test Tool).
Panic description:
"This panic is raised when a length value passed to a 16 bit variant
descriptor member function is invalid. It may be raised by some descriptor
constructors and, specifically, by the Replace() and Set() descriptor member
functions."


The test tool stops at page 3/28 and there is no log because it crashes
before it can log anything (at the first test - PKG-01 - installing my test
app).

Has anyone the same problem or even a solution for it? I hope so, I don't
get why it crashes down. Thanks for any kind of information.
