makesis fails

makesis fails

I am sure that this has been discussed previously but I have a problem
making a sis file for the Series60 v30 using the SDK available at the
Nokia site.

When using the makesis command I get a failure saying
"No vendor names found"
"error: verification failure"

I have the localized and default vendor strings in the pkg file
according to the documentation.

;Language
&EN
;Header
....

;Vendor
%{"MyVendorName"}
:"MyVendorName"

I read somewhere that this could be a problem and that the solution was
to use makesis from an older SDK. So after doing that, which succeeds, I
try to sign the SIS which then fails. I switch back to the new SDK
before trying to sign the sis file

"SISfile error, myapp.sis is not a SIS file"

I hope somebody can help, or give me pointers in the right direction

Best Regards
