Hello,
Can anyone point out how to make J2ME applications run on Symbian 9.1 in
lieu of the new capability and security framework.
For eg, do I need to get ACS ID and certification to run an application in
J2ME that access the data ports of a Symbian 9.1 phone?
Thank you.

J2ME apps are verified via the Java verified program - for information on
how this works, see .... http://www.javaverified.com/. Java has its own
security model, which co-exists with Symbian's enhanced security model.
