At the end of 2005, I wrote a post entitled Optimisation de traduction
automatique in which I mentioned current applied research being conducted in the
field of Machine Translation.
Over the past 15 months, this research has come a long way and crucial
milestones in technological transfer have been achieved:
Our Syntactic and Stylistic Improvement Technology has been registered as a
trademark under the name “Transtyler”
A demonstration version of the software was presented to the committee of
Professors at the University of Toulouse II who directed Andrew Kovacs’ Ph D
Dissertation
Last summer, Andrew defended his Ph D Dissertation and obtained the highest
possible honors
A Market Study is currently being conducted by a prestigious international
consultancy firm specializing in audit, law and finance
We are currently entering a new proactive phase as we meet potential clients.

It's very interesting project you've got going there, I know how difficult it is
to translate between languages (I studied French at school last year) and it
looks like your team is on the path to better translation than whats currently
avaiable.
That said, you may want to put a better example on your website than what's
there at the momment it still doesn't translate perticularly well eg republican
and legitimate homage
That's just my thoughts on it but keep up the good work (I'm sure school kids
worldwide look forward to a program that can accurately translate )

Thanks for sharing your thoughts and also for your encouraging words.
Regarding the translation sample provided on the website, you're right and we
will very soon add other examples to show other application fields of our
technology.
If at least we could help kids at school this would be something great.

Perhaps then I would of gone a bit better at French if it was available sooner
Mind you I'm not entirely sure why I studied French it doesn't really have much
of a practical application in this part of the world (asides from New
Caladonia)
