few from UK demanding Microsoft for price reduction!

"In the UK a full copy of Vista Ultimate would cost you £350, in the US it
would cost you £195. The US version of Vista is exactly the same as the UK
version"

I guess there should be a strong reason for the price difference, otherwise MS
wouldn't do it.

IMO, two reasons

Taxation, including VAT which, unless I'm mistaken, is at 17.5%! Yes, 17.5%
The EU Office of Incompetency, sorry, Office of Competition.

Yes john, you are right,

looks like various factors involved...according to this article...
A Microsoft spokeswoman said

"Microsoft's prices vary by region based on "exchange rate, local
taxes, duties, local market conditions, and retailer pricing decisions"

My personal opinion is MS has to consider it, the demand is keep increasing and
people are in anger, I don't think they do compare other products/services.

I coucur and further observe that entities must make a provision for reflexive,
irrefragable litigation.
