Does anyone know how to force a resequencing of the device names and associated
dmp names. During an LUN import from a Hitachi AMS500, for a single LUN
out of several, only one side was imported, hence the device names and assoc
dmp names were off by one. Is there a way for re-import and have them
resequence
properly?
Once remedied and the LUN was imported properly, the problem didn't self
correct after several reboots or after vxdctl enable.
Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

Volume Manager gets a list fo devices from the kernel device tree and
not from /dev (in order)
For the purpose of "persistent" naming across reboots, there is the
/etc/vx/disk.info file.
So, this file remembers the "old" name. Remove the file (or edit it)
