Master page disappeared from Installed Templates

Since I installed Visual Studio Web Developer Express SP1, I cannot add a master
page to any of my new projects. My old projects have masterpages, but I cannot
add them to my new projects. Can anyone help me?

From your description, I understand that the master page template disappears
after installing  Visual Studio Web Developer Express SP1. For this issue,
please run the following command in “Visual Studio 2005 Command Prompt”
(Start | All Programs | Microsoft Visual Studio 2005 | Visual Studio Tools):

devenv /installvstemplates 

/InstallVSTemplates (devenv.exe)

However, I have Visual Web Developer Express alone installed on my computer not
as part of the visual studio 2005 express edition suite. Thus I do not the
Visual Studio Tools option. From Start I All Programs, I can only choose
Microsoft Visual Web Developer 2005 Express Edition.
