Find - - Eliminate non-Searchable sub-directories?
Sat, 8 Mar 2008 01:05:36 +0000
Almost every web site I work on has a directory for PDF files (displayed or
downloable). When I do a find in VWD Express 2005, I always "stumble"
on finding the string I'm looking for in these -- which is, for the most part,
NOT where I am concerned with them.

Is there anyway of eliminating these? Would putting the PDF sub-directory into
the App_Data directory eliminate them from being searched?

hints/suggestions gratefully accepted ... mahalos (thanks) in advance ... :)

^BUMP^

WHAT am I missing here? Does no one else get side-tracked and irritated when
searching for an arcane/unusual constant (such as "~/")? There should
be a way of directing "Find" to not stumble into what amounts to be
"data" files (i.e., PDF).

NO?
