Hi Ally,
We have been using http://canaca.com/index.html for three years now and the
service has been good with no down time. They have three separate web
hosting plans which give a good choice of services based on what you require
for your client.
As I had mentioned in a previous post I also would appreciate any feed back
others may have on this host.
Seasons Greetings,
John.

:) Yeah, I thought that might be so. But at least I'd have a list to go
from.

I used DirectNic in the past. Heard anything about them?

Could you tell me what FWIW is?? lol ahhh, for what it's worth!! Gotcha!

I see some HUGE differences between what is offered by different hosts:

1&1 offers

    * 250 GB web space
    * 3,000 e-mail accounts
    * 2,500 GB monthly transfer volume
    * Virus Guard & Spam Guard

    * 5 domain names
    * Dedicated SSL Certificate
    * Advanced Developer Tools
    * Linux based

ServerGrid: offers a lot less space and data transfer but unlimited domains
and email:

Disk Space 1000 MB 2000 MB 3000 MB 4000 MB
Monthly Data Transfer 20 GB 30 GB 40 GB 50 GB

Would you say Servergrid offers enough disk space and monthly data transfer
for most websites?

Peter,

I'm a little confused as to why you would choose a separate domain registrar
and host. Most hosting companies offer both in one package, right? Or am I
missing something?
