As it's only javascript, there is no real 'integration' needed.

All you'd need to do is have your back end spit out the proper HTML with the
applicable TITLE and ID attributes.

yep... in fact I just integrated it into the back end of my CFcms this
week, using it for image previews on the admin side.
hope to have a demo of this all-new cms (including the lightbox
previews) in the next few weeks

I have also woven lightbox into a CartWeaver site, still in development
(no live link yet)

If you are interested in something done in CF with mySQL or Access, take
a look at this
http://www.mredesign.com/cfDEV/mrecfgallery/wwwroot/sampleGalleryIGM.cfm

Click the link top right for a demo of the gallery back end
(this is an earlier version of the CFcms I am putting together as we
speak)
The new interface will be different, but you can see the
functionality...
go ahead and upload a few images, and check out the thumbnails and
resized
large images with resizing done right on the server.
Once you have these images where you want them, you can do anything.

I have a few demos here of some quick gallery-type things
http://www.mredesign.com/cfDEV/mrecfgallery/wwwroot/index.cfm
I will try to get a demo up soon of the lightbox, and add it to this
list

For the record, I've been working on a portfolio managemen app (you can see
a sample of it working here: http://www.abernathyphoto.com) that would work
with a variety of the popular front-end slide shows. For starters, I was
going to have it make the applicable HTML for lightbox 2 and the applicable
XML for slideshowpro.

But, I may never get around to it either. ;o)

Hi Darrel -

SlideShowPro is definitely on my 'to do' list as well!

I havent looked at how it writes its' xml but my CF cms is also geared
for use with any type of gallery, would love to exchange notes on SSP or
attack it together when the time comes

Has anyone used the Lightbox JS scripts with a backend, allowing users to
upload photos/captions via a web-based admin?

I was thinking of integrating this a while back, but don't know if someone
has created something already.

Thanks,
Patrick
