weblogic licensing

Hi,
We want to know how does the weblogic licensing work in case of server
virtualization. I understand the licenses are based on CPU in case of installing
on physical machines.

When we get virtual instances, will the license be applicable to only # of CPUs
in virtual server instance or it will be dependent on the # of CPUs in physical
machine?
