Nick,
I finally received a phone call from someone at BEA about a week ago regarding
this issue. As of right now, no patch has been developed. However, he said
that there is a good chance the problem might be fixed in the latest version of
WLS (9.2 MP3) even though it is not specifically mentioned in the release notes.
Since I am in the process of upgrading our system to that version anyway, I
told him I would let him know what I find. Unfortunately, I've run into some
snags while configuring our new environment and have not had a chance to do any
testing yet.
If the issue still exists in MP3, I was told that I will have to reopen my
support case to get a patch specifically for MP3. Otherwise, I was given the
impression that no patch would be provided for MP2 and earlier versions and the
"solution" would simply be to upgrade to MP3. So if you need a patch
specifically for one of those earlier versions, I would recommend opening your
own support case.
