Our company employs two physical data warehouses roughly 90 miles apart. One
data center houses dev/test/QA servers and the other houses production servers.
The QA and production servers have identical hardware spec's. The primary
function of QA is to provide for performance testing and secondary function is
to provide for DR.
Typically, we label like systems in the same physical data warehouse as a
failover system.
