| Moving projects from WSAD5.1 to WID6.0.1 |

Hi there,

My team is using a number of development environments for webservices including
WID6.1, WID6.0.1, WSAD5.1.1.

I was wondering if you could clarify whether we could potentially only need to
use one/two of these environments. I need to know whether I can take projects in
WSAD5.1.1 (using WAS5.1 and J2EE1.3) and use them on WID6.0.1. My team is
tentative since they do not know if there could potentially be some unforseen
problems due to building our EAR files using WID6.0.1 instead of WSAD.

Here are my thoughts I am not too sure if they are correct:
1. The WAS 5.1 JRE is available on WID6.0.1 so this should be ok
2. WID projects can be J2EE 1.3 compliant using preferences
3. Additional .project files etc. are only to do with the workspace and project
preferences so will not make a difference when building.
4. I do not think there are any other dependencies in WSAD that are not
available in WID.
