What is a good wysiwyg web design program for someone who maintains a basic
website for a business? I'm a computer professional but don't have time to
maintain my basic site. Web design is not my forte but I do like to do it
myself so I at least have an idea what is involved. I have been using
FrontPage 2003 because as a Microsoft partner I have access to all their
software. It does the job but is frustrating at times. I tried a trial of
Dreamweaver but it was way too complicated for what I need. Is there
something in between?

<G> I hear your frustration over FrontPage (literally) as well as your
loyalty to Microsoft products. I think what we're needing to find is a
solution for 'home-based' or 'in-house' web design and publishing that meets
the basic needs and supplies some bells and whistles too - without being
over complicated or too advanced or inflated for us little folks.
I'll be looking forward to seeing what others have used or recommend - I
think we can all benefit from the experience of others *s*

Thanks, Joan. I liked the St. Patricks site. Did you use Composer to create
those sites? Is Composer wysiwyg? I don't mind editing some code once I've
got a basic design but I really like a wysiwyg mode for the initial design.

Hiya,
If you understand the basics of HTML and would prefer not to deal with the
extra stuff that makes Frontpage incompatible with browsers other than IE, I
love Coffeecup. It's $50 but with that you'll get lifetime updates for the
software. CoffeeCup HTML Editor They also have a free HTML CoffeeCup Free
HTML Editor 8.0 but the visual editor requires the full version.
