How to set up web pages...

How to set up web pages...

...to "cut down" on very lengthy, continuing articles or written
material on each page?

Goal is to be able to go from one shortened page to the next, thereby
eliminating the need for alot of scrolling on the individual pages

Thanks...

Surely that comment needs to be refined where the purpose of the website is
to deliver a document or narrative supported by content? Unnecessary clicks
and links might be tidy but can be a bore if the visitor wants to go
straight to the core purpose of the website.

I know of instances, within Intranet and Internet online communities to
which I subscribe and participate, that direct access to shared documents,
essays or commentaries can be very helpful. Creating clickable links to
open documents is just adding extra step clicks when I (as a
visitor/reader/interested party) might prefer to go directly to the
document.

I would say that making a document or narrative interesting is actually the
more technically skill that people need to acquire. :o))

I used a linked topic list and then back/next on each page.

Hi Bearz --

I'd say book-style describes it best...

In any event, thanks for the input/comments.

And yes..."interesting" is, afterall, the operative word :)
