The web hosts provide a monthly bandwidth limit to a user. The web hosts says
that you are provided with a 2GB monthly data transfer.
How can I determine the how much monthly data transfer has taken place for my

Hello,
You could determine your monthly bandwidth analyzing your web site access log
files.

In addition to this, most of the hosts provide a calculation of the bandwidth
used in the control panel itself or through some kind of statistics program
(like AWStats or Smarterstats) which will help you to track it.

You can also download you logs and use an offline (local) software, for example
www.analog.cx
By the way, different tools show different bandwidth. Sometimes there is 20%
difference. Be sure you have logs of all your sites and sub-domains and
configured the software properly. For example, some programs do not count
outgoing traffic by default.

You can view all your stats through control panel. I think every web host
provides a control panel with the hosting package to manage their website. You
can easily view your disk space and bandwidth usage through it.
