| Any work arounds to GoDaddy's lack of remote connections on their DB |
 |

I have my site hosted on Godaddy and when I want to debug, I can't cause they
don't allow remote hosting. I have to mimick the DB locally to actually do any
debug work and that gets old really fast.
Any ideas?
Also, who are some good hosting sites out there that are under $5-10 a month
that allow more access (remote access, namely).
Thanks

Godaddy doesn't allow remote connections to the db... However, most of the other
hosts does allow remote connections. You can check:
Discountasp.net (little over your budget with SQL Server but its the best)
Softsyshosting.com
Dotnetpark.net
Ultimahosts.net
Thanks,

Yes, we here at DiscountASP.NET allow our SQL customers to connect to their SQL
DB via remote connections.

Yes, some hosting companies do not allow remote connections to their remote
database server. To debug is such situations you will have to have a local db
set up and it can make debugging a problem. You can try hostingitrust.com, we
allow remote connections to our sql server database.
