| Powershell to copy a some file/folder to multiple location |

Hi,
i am new to scripting so please bear with me.
I got some folder and need to copy to multiple location (which all
subfolders under a single folder)
i try to write up the code like this but it doesnt seems to work,
can anyone share idea?
' S:\template have all the folder it required
' C:\test should have 5 subfolder
$a = Get-ChildItem 'C:\test' -Force -ErrorAction SilentlyContinue | ft name
foreach($file in $a)
{
copy "S:\Templates\*" c:\test\$file
}
any hint?

Don't use Format-Table (ft) it changes the object type.
Why not just use the -recurse flag for copy?
copy "S:\Templates\*" -dest c:\test\$file -rec -whatif
