I got some folder and need to copy to multiple location (which all
subfolders under a single folder)

i try to write up the code like this but it doesnt seems to work,

can anyone share idea?

' S:\template have all the folder it required
'  C:\test should have 5 subfolder
$a = Get-ChildItem 'C:\test' -Force -ErrorAction SilentlyContinue | ft name
foreach($file in $a)
{
	copy "S:\Templates\*" c:\test\$file
}

Don't use Format-Table (ft) it changes the object type.

Why not just use the -recurse flag for copy?

copy "S:\Templates\*" -dest c:\test\$file -rec -whatif
