I have confused many months about a hosting sharepoint service problem,the
problem
occures occasionally,and cann't solve the problem easily except manual
opeartion,scenario
in detail like that:
step 1.use HMC API Interface "CreateCustomerSharePointSite" in
namespace "Windows
SharePoint Services Hosting" to create a organization's site successfully;
step 2.occasionally,when i use HMC API Interface
"DeleteCustomerSharePointSite" in
namespaces "Windows SharePoint Services Hosting" to delete the site
successfully;
step 3.when recreate organization's site according to step 1's procedure,cann't
create the organization's site, failure info is "the organization's host
service already
exists";
when occures the problem, i offen take some mannual operator to solve it ,
step4.login sharepoint server,then use "stsadm" tools to create the
organization's
site;
step5.according to step2,delete the site,and then recreate the organization's
successfully;
I have analysed the situation,may be because of API Interface
"DeleteCustomerSharePointSite" 's bug,according to HMC reference
doc,the procedure cann't
rollback,that is, even if the procedure failure, it cann't remove the some
chanages and
remainder,so then create site failure.
In spite of the problem has been solved ,the method isn't gracefully,and cann't
accept by customer,so maybe my friends have any suggestion to me, thanks in
advance.
