| WP11 and roaming profiles (WP11 crashes) |

Here's the setup: Microsoft domain, all users config'd with roaming
profiles. Applies to all WP11 builds (233 and up); problem occurs
regardless of SP revision.
Amongst the other problems, here's one that's intermittently annoying: When
a user logs onto a machine that they haven't been on before (but have
network-based profiles with WP11 configs already), WordPerfect will either
lockup at the splash screen, display splash and then vanish (not run), or
give the ubiquitous "WordPerfect has encountered an error and must shut
down
(C++ error)". Sometimes granting the domain user local Administrator
access
works; sometimes it doesn't. Sometimes setting the default user to a local
printer (versus a network shared printer) works; sometimes it doesn't.
Sometimes setting up an IP printer works, sometimes it doesn't. (I mention
network printers because this seems to be part of the problem... sometimes).
User can log off, go back to their usual machine, and it works fine.
Another user can log onto the box with "issues" (who also has an
already-established network profile and WP11 config from another machine)
and WP11 will work perfectly; other user comes back, logs on, and WP
crashes.
Anyone seen this, and can recommend a resolution? Service pack levels have
no effect. Upgrading WP11 is not an option. Checked knowledge base and
found nothing of any relevence or use.
Thanks!
Jack
