Somehow in trying to create some labels, I inadvertantly changed the default
letter style to a label size so that all my documents come up horozontally
compressed on the screen. Help! What can I do to restore the setting? I am
completely ignorant when it comes to styles in spite of being a long time WP
user.
Any assistance would be appreciated. I am totally shut down.

Found problem. Had changed from standard page to printer page type.

Jerry,
As long as there is no paper size code in your default document style,
WP takes the first paper size definition in the list, which may be
"Avery Label xxx". Two ways to correct this:
1) Create a new letter size definition and call it "_letter" (which
means it will be first in the list) or
2) Edit your default document style: In a blank document, open Reveal
Codes (Alt+F3), double-click on the only code there; in the style codes
dialog, do Format, Page, Page Setup and select Letter; OK out.
IMHO, the second method is more effective because it leaves "Letter"
as
the paper size name, which may be an advantage if you exchange documents
with other people.
