Updating WP 11

In trying to figure out why the Publish to PDF didn't work on my system but 
did on Roy's, I looked at the version number and realized that when it was 
reinstalled recently on a new computer, the patches weren't installed, so 
it's still at version .233. Before I figured that out, I'd spent a lot of 
time getting all my macros to work properly and transferring my settings. 
When I install the patches now, will everything else need to be reconfigured 
again?

In the meantime, I went ahead and installed all 3 patches, and everything 
seems to be working fine. I had previously recompiled all the macros when I 
first installed WP11 (not realizing that someone else had already done it 
and put it online), and I copied them to the installation on the new 
computer, replacing any with the same name. They all seem to be working 
fine--or at least the ones I use most often--so I guess that the patches 
didn't affect that. Even Publish to PDF is working now, although I can now 
use PDF995. Thank you for your help.

Yes, but I already recompiled them when I installed WP11 the first time. The 
recompiled macros were copied into WP for the reinstallation on a new 
computer.

It is still true that any macros that have been played in the initial 
release of WP11 need recompilation before being used in upgraded builds.
