Select Open With and then Choose Program rather than Change. Select the
Always Open With box to reset to another Application. This is the same
as in Windows Explorer (Win+E).

If you fear a problem, backup files and work on those or the others.
Checking an attributes checkbox enables it and uncheck disables. All
Windows options with checkboxes work like that.

I have often wondered how to associate a file with the programs listed under
Properties. These being from the Open Dialogue Box.
Putting a finer point. I would select File, Open. Select my file by right
clicking. Then selecting Properties. Then Change. Up comes a list of
programs.
Whenever I've tried experimenting, I get the conversion box appearing in
WordPerfect.
Besides the above. Could you also, convey further information on the hidden and
archive features further down? Plus the Advanced Attributes. Right now, I'm
reluctant to experiment in case of losing the files altogether for example.
Finally, I did try emailing this thread to Corel direct. It appears that they
are no longer accepting email correspondence for those using WordPerfect 11. Is
this correct?
Thanks
Michael
