It is no longer possible for me to print the barcode on an envelope. The
appropriate box has been checked in the dialog box, Is there anything else I
need to do? Any advice will be appreciated.

Your question implies that you once were able to print barcodes. What
has changed on your computer since then? Software added? Printer? Anything?

Dick
To insert a bar code to an envelope, you need to select an envelope paper
size. This you can find in:
Format, Page, Page Setup. Select Standar Paper Type. Then scroll down the
list where you will see envelope sizes beginning with Envelope #10.
Alternatively
You can select your envelope size by going to Format. Then selecting
Envelope from there.
Now when you select your envelope size, you will have a choice in
positioning the bar code either above address or below it.

Chris and Michael:
Thanks for your advice. I am doing all those things, and still the barcode
does not print. Everything else is working fine. There are two printers
attached to the computer and the problem exists on each.

Michael,
Side note. Here is a link to a very handy free service. It creates short
URLs from those ungainly long ones.

Here is the alias for your Corel KB link:
