Please try renaming the default template file (usually WP11xx.WPT, where
xx is your country code, such as "us") to WP11Back.WPT. Restart
WPWin11, and a new clean template file will be created. If this solves
the problem, the FAQ at
http://www.wpuniverse.com/vb/showthread.php?s=&threadid=18046
on Saving and Restoring Customisations should help you recover
personalisations of menu, keyboard, toolbar, styles, etc.
Of course, if it does not help, rename WP11Back.wpt back to its original
name, over-writing the newly created default template file.

This is not typical, but, of course, under a Windows systems, a program
can depend on a file installed by another program. There may be some
..dll file whose new version WP11 does not like. This requires some kind
of troubleshooting to find out the culprit. When found, usually moving
the old version into the WP program folder while having the new one in
the Windows folder can help.

This is what seemed to happen to me. All working fine at end of day. When
started in morning WP11 kept hanging.
Did virus check -nothing. Then did roll back to settings 2 days earlier and
bingo all was well again.
XP Pro 2002 sp2, Pentium 4 wp11 sp 1,2,3.
I tried to advise Corel but got back message saying wp11 no longer
supported. Does this mean this sort of thing will start happening?
Many thanks
