Since they are designed to be invisible in the main part of the screen, 
you can only add a "text placeholder" or "prompt" at the
bookmark 
location(s), as explained in my "Automating WordPerfect Templates" on
my 
Tips page at http://wptoolbox.com/tips.html#autoWPT

You can also /print/ the document with all Reveal Codes showing, from 
the Advance tab in the print dialog.

But if you were to explain why you need to do this, maybe we can give 
some suggestions. Or perhaps my article above will be enough to, um, 
prompt some ideas. <s>

Hello!  I can't seem to locate any information about this, so it appears to 
me it can't be done.  Is there ANY way to make bookmarks visible in a 
document?  Reveal Codes and Go To are helpful, but I would rather be able to 
see some sort of mark in the actual document that they are there.  Using 
version 12 SP3.

Thanks so much for the reply, Barry.  You are always most helpful.  I will 
review your document and see if I have any questions.  Of course I don't 
have a good reason why the user wants to see them, she just does as a 
typical user making my life difficult :0).  No, I think someone told her in 
Word you can see them so now of course it is an issue that WP can't.  Even 
the print feature I think will be helpful.

Yes, I completely agree (and I am sure so would the user if I took it away 
from her) that I would rather have Reveal Codes and WP anyday.

I saw a few things about the hyperlink and will also play around with that.

Perhaps Reveal Codes makes up for that (and then some).

Of course Edit|Find and Replace finds Bookmarks.
And you can Hyperlink to a Bookmark; the process (for existing 
Bookmarks) is partially automated.
