We have a standard "fax" macro which places the boilerplate
confidentiality
info on letterhead and then pauses for input as to the number of recipients,
fax no, page, etc. On one computer when the user invokes the fax macro the
boilerplate comes out in machine language. It only happens on this machine
which is patched to .602. The rest of the macros work just fine and using
that macro on anyone else's machine does not produce that result.

Joyce,
On the problem PC, please try renaming the default template file,
probably WP12US.WPT (where US is your language) to WP12Back.WPT.
Re-launch WPWin12 and a new default template file will be created. Does
that help?
If it does help, we can advise on how to recover your personalizations
of menu, keyboard, toolbar -- although this could be conveniently done
by copying the file WP12US.WPT from another machine.

Gave it a try - didn't work. Text is still appearing as machine language.

It is the small rectangular blocks - when viewed on the screen and as
printed.
