I own  wp12 office

suddenly the wp12 function cannot be called,
lquattro pro, etc. can.
i have misplaced the installation disc and serial number

?????

I think that it would be worth checking the validity of your WP 
template.
Navigate to your Template Directory.
The name and location are noted in WP under
Tools | Settings | Files | Template Tab.

If you cannot open WP: you can check the location and name at:
HKCU\Software\Corel\WordPerfect\<version number>\Location of 
Files\EN.
For some reason, X3 uses:
<br>HKCU\Software\Corel\WordPerfect\<version number>\EN\Location 
of Files.
You right-click <Template File> and choose Modify
 - the text appears in the R column. If you find it helpful, you 
can Ctrl-A, Ctrl-C to copy the Dialog contents.
Choose [Cancel], so that you cannot in error change the entry.
Close WP.
Rename the template file, perhaps by adding at its end .old
Launch WP.
WP will generate a new default template. If the problem then 
goes away, you can Copy any custom toolbars etc. from the old 
template to the new, and if it does not you can simply reinstate 
the old template through a little Deleting and Renaming.
