| Opens to wrong page type |

Whenever WP opens a new document, the page type is set to an Avery label
template instead of letter. Is there somewhere that I can change that. Also,
that avery template doesn't work correctly. It is supposed to be set up to
create labels (avery 8160) 1" x 2 5/8" but it acts like a standard
letter
page.

That helped with half the problem. I have it set so that new docs now open
with letter as the default. Old files still opened as the Avery template so
I deleted it and now everything seems ok except...
I use that Avery template frequently! Now I don't know how to get it back...

Kevin,
to get the Avery labels back, do Format, Labels and select it from the list.
This may bring it back to your old documents, though. To get rid of it
there, you could open each, insert page size Letter at the beginning of
your documents and save them again. If there are thousands of old
documents that need this change, Roy "Lemoto" Lewis will certainly
step
in and tell you how to automate the process.
