I just bought and installed WPOffice X3 a trial version of WPMail. Everything
installed fine. But when I opened the mail program to set it up it closed
immediately. Then next time I opened it I get a notice I have 0 days left in my
trial time. Corel Support responded to my query with a Serial # to unlock the
program. When inserted the option to Continue is grayed out so i have to shut
down.
Anyone have any idea of how to fix this problemJ?

Give Corel a call. They'll give you another serial number. :)

Joell, is this a normal proceedure for WPMail trials to drop 29 days and
refuse the Serial # given by Corel?
They were very quick to send the # . But they've apparently sent one that's
wrong. Just wondering about Corel products.
I appreciate your quick reply.

Be sure to politely let them know that :
A. You have called once already and gotten incorrect indformation
b. You are using the trial that came with the X3 , and which version of X3
ou have. I think there are different serial numbers for each trial that
there was. It took me a couple of tries as well.
Good luck. Be sure to post here or at wpuniverse.com if you have any
questions about the program. It can be kind of hard to learn, but once
you are used to the different way of thinking about your email, it can
make things a lot easier.
All the best,
Pix

No it's not normal procedure. I believe it's related to the system
restore feature in XP. Corel needed to make the trial smart enough to
know when someone was trying to bypass the trial period using SR.
Unfortunately even minor system glitches can cause the trial to suspect
the worst.
As for the second # not working... you have to call again! Or, look for
zero's that might be the letter O ... and vise versa. :)
