Re: location of user templates in WP13

Do Tools, Settings, Files, Template tab.  The top 2 windows give the 
path and the name for the WPWinX3 default template file.  You can change 
these as you wish, but note that the QuickWords file QW13EN.WPT 
(assuming language is one of the 4 English dialects).  The QuickWords 
file cannot have its name changed, and it must exist in the folder 
selected for the default template file.

For macros, do Tools, Settings, Files, Merge/Macro tab.  There are 2 
default folders, one of which is used for the Corel-supplied macros.  If 
you only wish to keep a few user-defined macros, then you can use this 
same folder.  If more macros, then I recommend using the other default 
folder for these user-defined macros.

Two ideas: With 2 folders, you can add shortcuts to each other to switch 
between macro folders; you could exchange the folder settings for these 
2 folders.  Then when you do Tools, Macro, Play etc, the default folder 
displayed is that for your user-defined macros.

Hello

this is my first post to the group

What is the recommended folder for user created template ... I've just 
updated from WP8

I've found the "default" template and have tried to put user templates

in that directory, but they don't appear when I enter Ctrl-Shift-N

Same question for macros ... where do user created macros go

I've tried you knowledge base, but presumably looked in the wrong place'
