Access Denied Error
Sun, 30 Mar 2008 16:17:42 -050
Most of the people with whom I work use Microsoft Office. I prefer
WordPerfect and currently use WP X3. But when I create a document in
WordPerfect and then attempt to save it as a Word document, I get the
error message "Access Denied. You do not have the rights to do this."

I have cleared out my temp directory and rebooted with no avail.

Any suggestions?

Thanks.

Save to the next lower version of MSWord.

Thank you for your reply.

I've tried that to no avail. I still get the same error message. In
fact, since I have Word 2007, I routinely save to the next lower version
for compatibility purposes with my co-workers.

I am not sure we are on the same page. The next lower version from
MSWord07 is the newest version from wp. In wp, you need to save to the
lower version below it's newest version. So, in x3, you would save to
MSWord 6.0/7.0. Is this what you did?

Thank you.

I have not attempted that. I will do so and report back on the progress.
