You can use SendKeys("{Alt+F}"). First set the focus. The key to
make SendKeys() work is to get the proper focus first.
See the TBEMail.wcm at wpu for an example.

I thought Xpunge 0.2.3-tb.xpi would solve my problem of getting
Thunderbird to automatically compact the folders, but my Windows XP will
not open an xpi file extension.
Is there any other way to do this job of folder compaction?

You add the extensions through Thunderbird.

I have set the compacting in Thunderbird Tools>Options>Advanced>Network
& Disc Space to Compact at 1 KB.
After I use WP X3 to open the TB QI Inbox file and cut out all the data
then re-save as
FileSave (ExportType:ASCIIStandard!) I must then do a manual thing. I
must open Thunderbird manually and do a manual click on the QI Inbox
folder then a right click and a Compact.
What I would like to accomplish is those manual tasks automatically. I
seems that Xpunge does not help as it has to wait one minute before it
can compact.
Note:
If an email comes into that QI Inbox BEFORE I have done the manual
clicks and manual compact then it is lost in the netherworlds of
etherville. It will not be received anywhere.
