A reboot might help.
If not, try a repair from the cdrom.

When I try to access a network drive with WP_X3, the folders are
displayed but can not be opened with the WP file manager. Explorer
works OK and WP also did at one time. If I right click a network
folder with the WP file manager, it then opens in a new
window...strange...any thoughts will be appreciated.
